Come mid-February, we’ll be making a couple of trips to Montreal. Not specifically for pleasure though… our green card appointment at the consulate is set for Feb 18th! Prior to that date, we will be going up for a daytrip to do our medical appointments, and then the following week we’ll be back for the actual appointment at the consulate. Exciting times! I am really just hoping and praying that there won’t be a big snowstorm on February 12th or 17th… we have to drive straight up I-87 from Albany to Montreal, and that can be a treacherous drive if it’s storming.
I’m really looking forward to this trip – I’ve driven through Montreal, I’ve flown over Montreal, but I’ve never stayed there or really seen the city. Get the bagels & lox ready, because i’m coming!!!

How exciting! Feel free to drop me a line if you want any tips on where to go! I’ve lived in Montreal for 10 years now.Mid-Feb is not the prettiest time to come, but you’ll still love it!

Aimee – wish i had seen this comment before we left… doh! well, we had a lovely time, and the weather was quite cooperative. the big nasty storm didn’t affect us – we left all nasty weather behind at the border on Thursday!
Kerry – girl, you need to come by and toast our success with a Coke 😀 are you still coming over here on Sunday nights for your daughter’s youth group? drop me a line!

Yup I sure am… every week – well, next week is some Revolve tour thingy in Rochester that she is going to with a friend of hers, so I guess she isn’t going next week, but in general she goes every week.
