The last 6 months were a flurry of boxes, moving, selling, downsizing, packing, moving, storing, unpacking, organizing, painting, building, working, and serving.
Whew!
Now that things are hitting a routine, it’s nice to be able to enjoy some video games with my free time.
Here’s what I’m enjoying right now:
It’s been a privilege this past. week to serve again with CrossTalk Global as an instructor for our USA cohort.
These men and women have worked hard in improving and discovering how to preach God’s Word effectively and faithfully to the culture in which they serve.
One of the sobering realities for churches around the world is that only 5% of the pastors are trained for pastoral ministry. They lack the resources, qualifications, and access to the training they need.
And CrossTalk Global is making a difference.

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of video games. There are too many video games, not enough time. But thanks to Twitch streams (and “Let’s Play” youtube videos), I don’t have to play every one to find good ones. Some gems have appeared early in 2017. I’ve already got some purchased and hopefully will have some free time to get into them soon, and there are some that I’m seriously interested in purchasing.
In no particular order, here they are:
If you enjoy tower defense games, try Kingdom Rush (Kongregate and Armor Games also has the game). Recently updated, it is worth the price. Lots of fun especially on the iPad and iPhone.
