let me say this: i don’t, in general, care one way or the other about the world of sports broadcasting. except for the fact that every morning, at varying times, it impinges on my precious sleep and forces me to wake up to various annoying (and often pointless) discussions which would be better held in a steam room at a gym – somewhere, anywhere far from my bedroom!

but today, on Valentine’s Day, i actually confess to warm and fuzzy feelings towards Mike & Mike of ESPN in the Morning. it seems they were promoting some sort of special deal with a web flower company. Brian decided, thanks in part to them, to get me the most beautiful roses and chocolate from he and Josh. tonight at 8 pm, a UPS truck rolled up to our house and delivered a box addressed to me, from ProFlowers. inside were the most perfect roses, a glass vase, and a red heart-shaped box of chocolates, with a sweet note from the two special men in my life.
