well it’s been a busy couple of weeks for the French family. after seeing the official Wild Turkey of Spring, we got snow, then enough rain to float the ark. oh and an inch of it went into our basement… ugh! that’s the one thing about living in the Hudson River Valley. If you have a basement, good luck keeping it dry.
in other news, the question of how to let your pastor know he’s appreciated has been finally answered. one of our church members and her daughter (Josh’s beloved sitter Em) nominated Brian to receive a Pastor’s Wakeup from our local christian contemporary radio station. on Thursday morning, around 6 a.m. while making breakfast for Josh, i heard a loud horn from the front of the house… a couple of seconds later there was a man with a trombone standing at our door! i got Bri out of bed, and he was the happy recipient of coffee, donuts, bagels, and radio station swag. You can hear us on the radio by going here and clicking on “Pastor Wakeups” on the right hand side (make sure your pop up blockers are off etc). There you can see Bri’s picture and hear our big Albany radio debut. It’s nice to be loved 🙂

I did really appreciate the kind words that were said, they came when I was having a rough couple of weeks…. months…. but did it have to come so early?!?!?!

LOL, I listened to it and it was awful fun. Congrats!

I just listened to the “wake up”. Sounds pretty cool. My dh is gone for work at 6:20, so they wouldn’t get him…
