late last night, after Josh was asleep (for the second time), the mouse trap was set, and the cats were on patrol. we went to sleep, and then i was awakened by the sound of the cats playing with something by our bathroom door. i got up, turned on the light… and saw an upside down mousetrap with a very clearly dead mouse, paws in the air. oh, and two cats standing there looking so pleased with themselves. they had dragged that thing all the way from the kitchen to our bedroom, just to show off their trophy. the Victor mousetrap wins again… with an assist from Pixie i am sure!

we won’t be posting pictures of *this* mouse discovery. suffice to say he was promptly disposed of!
