it’s Thanksgiving… happy turkey day! it’s funny how this time last year i was pretty miserable, wishing for anything familiar, feeling lonely… and this year we didn’t even do anything for Canadian thanksgiving in October. However, i have a nice gobbler in the fridge who will provide us with a lovely dinner tomorrow noon make that today noon!

what am i thankful for? there are too many things to list here, but i want to put a few down “on paper” as it were.

– Brian being in one piece. seriously – those moments of calling 911 and watching him go in the ambulance were the most frightening moments of my entire life. today he’s doing so much better.

– Josh – his silly smiles, funny faces, hugs and kisses, crazy dancing, his secret language known-only-to-him, and just his little self in general. i cannot imagine life without him.

– the joy and provision that God has given me these past few weeks, much of it by complete surprise. i won’t list all of those things here; suffice to say that i am a very very thankful woman today.
