Thoughts from the E.R.
Josh’s Saturday afternoon playdate came to a sadly abrupt end when he somehow landed on his foot weird on the trampoline. We went home, iced it down, gave him ibuprofen… and it just didn’t seem to be getting better. It turns out that what I thought might have been a bad stubbed toe was a dislocated toe that may or may not have a bit of a fracture on one of the bones. We hit the ER at about 7, hoping to beat all of the usual Saturday “festivities” that happen at the emergency room, and we stayed until 2 am. Yeah… anyway… some thoughts that occurred while we waited.
Let me sum up…
It’s been awhile since either of us did anything here on the blog. We’ve had a busy spring/summer season. Let’s see…
Money Saving and Mom?
Came across a very interesting site via Beth Runkel’s FB question about finding a good coupon site online. One of the suggestions was for Moneysavingmom.com.
It looks like a great site with lots of local coupons. I’m no mom (I don’t fit the gender requirements) but it looks pretty good! I especially loved the section about living simply and earning/managing money! If you get a chance, check it out!

Anything for Love
Came across this post about the crazy things we do for love by Justin Davis. Here’s a clip:
When we were dating, we would do the craziest things to be with one another. We would stay up late at night talking on the phone. We would playfully argue about who was going to hang up first. “No, you hang up.” “No, you hang up.” (Don’t pretend you didn’t do that.) We would go out of our way to see each other between classes even if we didn’t have class in the same building.

My wife bought her first domain name yesterday. It’s www.kristafrench.com (which currently is being redirected to this site). I’m sure she’s got some great plans for it.
